Our MissionThe mission of the STEM Industry Council (SInC) is to support the development of future engineers and STEM professionals from Columbus City Schools by providing each student studying STEM curriculum with the academic knowledge, commitment and skills required to succeed in post-secondary education and careers in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
|
Who We ServeWe support Columbus City Schools students and local employers in the community by providing beneficial experiential learning opportunities through paid internships and career readiness programming throughout the year. Students from up to 8 Columbus City high schools take part each year, but all Columbus City high school juniors and seniors are eligible (based on availability).

"My advice for young people is, study what you love and intern in what you want to do. And I think it’s okay to pivot as many times as you need to."
