“My internship experience was even better than I expected. Working with Drive Ohio on launching the smart mobility program was amazing. I was able to give my input as a high school student to help better the program. The internship didn’t feel like work because I was very interested in the topic and program they are launching.”
OUR IMPACT
In 2008, we started with just 2 students. Today we have supported 126 students through our Project Lead the Way (PLTW) program, a multi-faceted approach to develop the next generation of STEM professionals. Students participants have gone on to collectively receive $100,000+ in scholarships to study in STEM-based majors at The Ohio State University, Case Western Reserve University, the University of Toldeo, and Columbus State Community College.
